Master Spa hot tub covers are made of a six-inch foam insulation that tapers down to four inches along the side. The covers consist of a 1.5lb foam density, making them extremely energy efficient and prevents lots of heat loss. You can customize your insulation options and features with our custom hot tub covers.
Master Spa hot tubs are made of a high-end, 30 oz. marine-grade vinyl. This vinyl covering makes sure the spa cover is unaffected by any sort of UV Rays or mildew.
Hot tub Insulation is rated by thermal resistance, called the R-value, which indicates the resistance to heat flow. Master Spa hot tubs have an R-Value of 24, which makes for a great energy efficient spa cover.
A hot tub cover skirt is material located around the edge of your hot tub cover to keep in the heat. It prevents dirt and other outside elements from getting into you hot tub. The standard hot tub skirt (flap) length is 4”– which is the recommended length for most spas.
There are a few steps to measuring your hot tub cover, depending on shape, which can be found here: Measuring Your Hot Tub Cover. You measure across the hot tub where the cover will fold, then measure around the entire outside edge of your spa to get the diameter. Other shapes --square, rectangle, hexagon-- will need the measurement of one of the individual sides.
Master Spa Parts makes custom covers for any hot tub brand that is under 96". We make replacement covers for Clarity Spas, Down East Spas, Getaway Hot Tubs, Healthy Living Hot Tubs, Legacy Whirlpool, Legend Series Spas, and Twilight Series Spas. Master Spa Parts covers prevent against moisture absorption with tapered EPS Foam Cores. The foam insulation in the cover is all vapor sealed, helping to prevent any sort of moisture from coming into your spa cover. All condensation is prevented - allowing this cover to last for years to come.
Typically, a hot tub cover should weigh between 50 and 75 pounds and one person should easily be able to take it on and off. If you find that your cover is weighing more than 75 pounds, it is probably because it absorbed too much water and should be replaced.
Each spa cover hinge is very strong, as it’s made with four layers of tough vinyl for reinforcement. Each hinge is double stitched for added durability and strength as well.
Our spa covers will support between 100-200 pounds (if we’re talking about a pet or a person) depending on the foam density chosen.
Each hot tub cover comes with four locking and safety straps to keep your cover securely on your hot tub. This helps your cover from being unwillingly removed due to harsh weather conditions.
Safety straps and release/lock hardware connectors come on all Master Spa Parts hot tub covers. These straps keep your cover safe, secure, and in place.
Your cover will be delivered within 8-14 weeks from the time of purchase. Some carriers will call and some will simply drop your cover off. If the carrier calls and you schedule a time, and later you need to change said time, give the company a call back to reschedule.
We warranty our insulating covers to the original end user, to be free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal usage, for a period of 3 years (36 months) from the date of manufacturing to the original end user. Please read our full Spa Cover Warranty for more information.
