The 66" x 78" Master Spas® factory direct OEM replacement hot tub cover (SKU: 66x78) is designed to fit your Master Spas hot tub. It comes standard with a 1.5lb foam density, long steam stopper cushions to help prevent any sort of heat loss. It has been upgraded to include two rubber grip handles and is made of a high quality marine-grade vinyl covering that is mildew treated and unfazed by UV rays.
Note: This particular cover folds along the short edge. If you need a cover with these same dimensions (66" x 78") but that folds along the long edge, try our 66 × 78 Inch Hot Tub Cover (Long-edge fold).
This 66" x 78" OEM custom replacement hot tub cover is made of a high quality, 100% marine-grade vinyl. This high-end vinyl helps to make sure your cover is unaffected by mildew, discoloration, UV rays, mold, etc. It consists of a six-inch foam insulation that tapers down to four inches along the sides, and has a 1.5lb foam density for amazing energy efficiency.
Please note that all hot tub covers we carry feature split corners on the skirt, meaning the vinyl skirt panels meet at each corner rather than wrapping continuously. If you're replacing an older cover with fully rounded skirt corners, you'll notice this difference upon arrival.
Additional cover highlights include:
- EPS Foam Cores (with tapers) — The insulation items on this cover are vapor sealed to help prevent any sort of moisture from coming into the hot tub cover. Moisture is released and condensation is prevented when it comes to these covers!
- Full-length heat seal — These full-length heat seal cushions are great when keeping in the heat from your hot tub! Additionally, there is a 12 oz. chemically resistant vinyl scrim on the heat seal.
- Three Panel Skirt Design — The cover skirt that is located around the edge of your hot tub cover also keeps in the heat. Additionally, it prevents dirt and other outside elements from getting into your hot tub.
- Two rubber grip handles (upgraded) — These two rubber grip handles help you to easily lift your hot tub cover… without ripping! Helps tremendously with ease of use.
- Four Release/Lock Hardware Connections — With the releasing and locking hardware connectors, your cover has built-in locking straps to keep your cover safe, secure and in place.
- Bottom Vinyl (11 Ounce Reinforced Weft, Mildew Treated) — The vinyl located on the bottom of the hot tub cover is mildew treated, as well as being reinforced (11 oz. reinforced weft).
- Double Stitched — 27 points of strength add structural reinforcements at all the stress points on your cover — providing years of use.
