To replace this bar, we recommend that you start with the cover in the closed position, making sure that the corners of your CoverMate III are positioned properly on the hot tub. First, remove the self-taping screws on the screws on both ends of the pivot arm. Then unscrew the bolt going through the mounting bracket. Once the original pivot arm is free, simply slide it off the support arm and put the new pivot arm for the CoverMate III into place. Reinsert the bolt that goes through the mounting bracket and screw back into place. Finally, put the self-taping screws back onto the ends of the pivot arm (SKU 100022).
