The CoverMate Vanish XL Cover Lifter is designed to provide smooth, low-effort handling while maintaining a clean, lower-profile appearance around the spa. When open, this cover rests behind the hot tub, helping keep the surrounding area more open compared to bulkier lifter designs (which can be the opposite of low-profile cover lifters).
Built for durability and consistent use, the lifter uses hydraulic shocks and sturdy mounting hardware to support steady, controlled movement. The design helps reduce racking and strain when opening or closing the cover.
The Vanish XL is intended for spa owners who want a reliable, lower-profile cover lifter without adding bulk or visual obstruction around the hot tub.

The Vanish XL requires drilling into both the spa cabinet and the spa cover. Customers should review the instructions and video in advance to make sure they are comfortable with the required drilling and mounting steps.
Independent installers we’ve worked with locally have used this lifter on a range of spas and have found that it performs reliably when installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
As with all our cover lifters for hot tubs, this product includes the lifter and mounting hardware only; a spa cover is not included.
